( Rider's can attend one or two days, what ever is their preference ). Since 2004, Kylie has been coaching horse and rider to become one. She has helped many horse and riders develop a deep spiritual connection and fulfilling riding relationship while coaching them both skills in "The Art of Dressage."
Clinics will be held on the last week end of each month from January 2012 till November 2012.

If you are looking for someone to teach you riding that is tuned in to the rider and the horse as one, Kylie Dearden is the instructor for you. Kylie doesn't push her students beyond where they are comfortable but at the same time encourages them to go forward. My horse and I went to Kylie a couple of months ago as a nervous duo and we are progressing nicely now and on the road to becoming a team. All good things take time, with a patient approach and Kylie's instruction I am sure my horse and I will continue to progress.

Through the monthly clinics I have attended with Kylie I have learnt how to become one with my horse and how to flow through all the movements of a horse. I learnt that you must keep your horse happy in their work for them to show their full potential I know now you must never be forceful if a horse doesn't understand what you are asking them, for it takes time for them to learn. I have learnt how to show flexion and how to bend your horse in the corners also I have learnt how to teach your horse to take the contact and stay in the correct frame. I am enjoying my experiences with Kylie and learning that there is a lot of skill and that it takes time to learn about your horse and yourself.

Hi Kylie,
I can't even express how beautiful it was to meet you, and I am really looking forward to connecting again. You are such a kindred spirit, and teacher with an enormous spiritual gift. I feel like the universe granted me such a blessing to have now met you, and I am praying for an equine partner with whom I can learn with you. I would be absolutely honoured if you would put the photo of us from Saturday on your website. All the best, Andrea.

Hi Kylie,
I just want to say a huge thank you for the time taken with me in the lesson. I gained a lot from your instructions and found that I jelled with your thought patterns. I am of the belief that in the world of training animals, it is more about training us, than it is about training the animal, to get the best out of our four legged friends - be they horses, dogs or anything else. I was able to take Scoot out for a quick ride on Monday evening, and had a really good ride. He seemed to be relaxed and enjoying his time out and seemed to be listening and responding very well. I even had him following me about without the lead. Best connection I have had for a long while. Remembering to praise is something I have to concentrate on, and, getting those aids right so I don't confuse him is critical. Your messages of relaxation of rider and constant encouragement of horse through praise, verbally or hands on, are so true. So with all this in mind, I would love to participate in your clinic at the end of the month. JOY SLOAN
